Once a week, we will be featuring an extraordinary animal account on Instagram! Their story, the adorable pictures, and pawesome videos! This week's spotlight goes to Barnaby, the cat whois adorably disheveled and looks like he hasn't had his morning cup of coffee yet!

Barnaby's unique look definitely resonates with all of us humans everywhere. He looks scruffy and sleepy and we feel that from the depths of our hearts. In an interview with CatCon, we get an inside glimpse into Barnaby's life! Barnaby is a one-and-a-half-year-old dollface Persian cat from Missouri.

In an interview with CatCon, we get an inside glimpse into Barnaby's typical day routine:

"Well, I wake mom up at 4:00 a.m. because I am hungry and I miss her. Then after breakfast, I let mom hold me and brush me for approximately 3 minutes. I eat wet food with gravy, so I like mom to brush it out of my beard afterward. Then I play with my humans and run around and act like a big scary predator and make them all laugh for a little while. I like to hide behind objects that are much smaller than me and then jump out when the humans least expect it. Often I go and lie under the couch and sleep until dinner time. I used to meow at my PURRents all night long to try to get them to wake up, but I've stopped doing that recently. I seem to get more treats now."

We also got to find out what Barnaby's life motto is:

"I'm always very busy." Whether I'm taking a ten-hour nap, or watching dust float, I'm always very busy.

In a hilarious comment from this video, one follower demanded to know how Barnaby's hair is the way that it is, demanding if Barnaby's owner bathes him or using a special mousse to achieve this majestic look! We also would like to know if it's a special mousse so we can go out there and purchase it for ourselves. The limit of hair height will be unknown!
